There are a vast array of cycle routes from Sedgeford to explore nearby attractions such as Sandringham Estate, Holkham Hall, Bircham Windmill or Hunstanton Beach. Between Hunstanton to Cromer virtually all of the Norfolk Coast Path has only public footpath classification and therefore no cycling is permitted. So, the recommended route is the Norfolk Coast Cycleway which runs from King’s Lynn to Great Yarmouth. The Norfolk Coast Cycleway enters Sedgeford
from a side road alongside St Mary’s Church.
There are a range of walks on the 1200 acre estate available to explore the rich countryside and wildlife that surround Sedgeford Hall. The 4 mile stroll to Great Bircham is rewarded by its striking windmill perched on top of a hill, and the Peddars Way and Icknield Way trails are also close by. The estate is also just 7 miles from the North Norfolk Coast Path. Visit: nationaltrail.co.uk for information on these trails.
