The Gin Trap Inn, Ringstead
Serving guests since 1668, this historic inn is dog friendly, laid-back and well-loved for a reason. With three AA rosettes and a great selection of local drinks (gins included), it’s ideal for a relaxed meal with your pup at your side.
Walk it off: Try the Ringstead Circular Walk – 7 miles of countryside, church views, and open farmland. The route passes right by the pub,
The White Horse, Brancaster Staithe
A coastal pub with great food, coastal views, and a welcome for dogs in the bar and garden. It’s a great choice after a day on the marshes or beach. Walk it off: Head to Brancaster Beach for a 4.8km walk with fresh sea air and plenty of sand for digging.
Queen Victoria, Snettisham

Dog friendly with a large beer garden and local ales on tap. They’re big on homemade food and community. Look out for their regular quiz nights, live music, and great pub events. Walk it off: Snettisham Woods is a great dog walking spot just nearby – big trees, quiet paths, and lots of scents to explore. Free parking too.
Titchwell Manor, Titchwell
A dog friendly favourite for something a little fancier. Known for its award-winning food and peaceful setting, it’s a calm spot to unwind with a well-behaved dog. Walk it off: The RSPB Titchwell Marsh reserve has lovely trails (some leading to the beach) and lots of wildlife to spot on the way.
The Old Store, Snettisham
Great coffee, great brunch, and a very warm welcome for dogs. The hash browns alone are worth the trip. Ideal for a lazy breakfast before a long walk. Walk it off: Just 6.6km away, Snettisham Beach RSPB Reserve has peaceful paths with plenty to explore and a direct route from Shepherd’s Port.
