“The West Wing of Sedgeford Hall was the perfect venue for my husband’s birthday celebration. It effortlessly accommodated 13 of us aged from 1 to 70. The living space was ideal with a very well-equipped kitchen (2 fridges, washing machine, and tumble dryer), lovely snug area with squashy sofas and a log fire, and a spacious hall/playroom. The bedrooms were mostly en suite and the beds super comfy. The standard of fixtures and fittings was high but not terrifyingly so for families. The grounds are great for walking and the local pub is just over a km away through the fields. Swimming pool is a huge bonus and it was good to have a rota so we had exclusive use of it. There’s lots to do in the surrounding area. We had a wonderful time and I’d recommend.”

“This was our fourth visit to Sedgeford Hall with a large group of family and friends to enjoy time together before Christmas. The main house, West Wing, and theatre were clean and immaculate throughout, with care taken for health and safety, given the circumstances. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas and there was every comfort for us all. We sang carols around the piano, cooked a Christmas dinner in the spacious kitchen, went for lovely walks, swam in the pool, and generally rested and enjoyed being together in such beautiful surroundings. We have always been treated with care and extreme kindness and helpfulness by the staff at Sedgeford Hall and can’t recommend them more highly. Thank you to you all.”

“Spent a weekend celebrating a 50th birthday with friends and we had the entire main house all to ourselves. WowWee stunning. Fun fact: the main house is so large that it took approximately 7 minutes speed walking indoors from room to room – a leisurely wander around entire main house, orangery and gardens 20 minutes! Loved this house, especially the huge kitchen! So many gushing positives – huge house, huge rooms, beautiful surroundings, indoor swimming pool, courtyard garden terrace with large ornamental pond, total privacy despite cottages speckled across the estate. Loved it and happily would return.”
An Excellent family get together
“After the restraints of Covid, it was a fantastic breath of fresh air. We stayed in the hall and theatre, which exceeded all possible expectations. From the stately four-poster to the baby grand piano in the hallway, all exquisite. Furnished to a very high standard and obviously meticulously maintained. Private adjoining pool was enjoyed by all, young and old! Immaculately clean and at an ideal temperature. Surrounding grounds and walks were thoroughly excelled in by the children and solitary dog in our party. Local pub was most welcoming and a nostalgic afternoon in Hunstanton was once again enjoyed by all. We have already started to synchronise our diaries to return next year.”
Beautiful location and fantastic property
“I have just come back from staying at Sedgeford Hall for a week. We hired both sides of the house (Main Hall, Theatre, and West Wing) so that we could ensure that we had the house exclusively to ourselves. We had a large party for my 50th Birthday on the Saturday and were easily able to accommodate 33 people, we hired three extra z beds. The focal point of the whole house would be the large kitchen in the centre which opens out to an enclosed garden (safe for children). It also opens out at the back to the sunken garden which was stunning. All my guests were very impressed and all loved the exclusive access to the swimming pool. This property and location is amazing and I am so glad we hired it for the week.”

“What a gorgeous house. Totally exceeded our expectations, much bigger than expected, which gave us all space to do our own thing… A must with teenagers, and parents in need of a break! I really felt like the lady of the Manor for 2 weeks! The swimming pool was the loveliest we have found on our treks, late evening swims are definitely recommended. But for me the most magical part was the garden, I could have spent my whole holiday in it! And at night it came into its own… So romantic. Thank you so much for our wonderful holiday based in the theatre, Sedgeford Hall Estate.”
